Đại Sứ Knapper Cùng Người Dân Hà Nội Khám Phá Văn Hóa Việt, Mỹ

Lễ hội giao lưu hữu nghị Việt Nam – Mỹ là sự kiện do Đại sứ quán Mỹ tại Hà Nội, Liên hiệp các tổ chức hữu nghị Việt Nam và UBND thành phố Hà Nội tổ chức, nhằm kỷ niệm 30 năm thiết lập quan hệ ngoại giao Việt Nam – Mỹ.

</p> <p>Đây là dịp để người dân và du khách tìm hiểu về quan hệ ngoại giao, thưởng thức văn hóa, nghệ thuật, ẩm thực của hai nước, khám phá các cơ hội kết nối kinh doanh và du học Mỹ.</p> <h2>Đại sứ Mỹ: Việt Nam sẽ là câu chuyện thành công lớn</h2> <p>Chia sẻ với <i>Tuổi Trẻ Online</i>, Đại sứ Mỹ tại Việt Nam Marc Knapper nhấn mạnh thông điệp về tình hữu nghị giữa Việt Nam và Mỹ trong lễ hội lần này.</p> <p>“Sự kiện ngày hôm nay là dịp để tôn vinh nhiều khía cạnh trong mối quan hệ giữa chúng ta. Thông điệp mà chúng tôi muốn gửi gắm là tình hữu nghị, sự cởi mở và mong muốn được chúc mừng cùng những người bạn Việt Nam”, Đại sứ Knapper nói, đồng thời chia sẻ điều đặc biệt khi địa điểm diễn ra lễ hội ở ngay cạnh tòa Đại sứ quán Mỹ mới, đang được xây dựng tại Hà Nội.</p> <p>Nhân dịp này, Đại sứ Mỹ điểm lại hành trình 30 năm phát triển mạnh mẽ của quan hệ Việt – Mỹ. Việt Nam hiện đứng thứ 5 về số lượng du học sinh tại Mỹ, song Đại sứ Knapper kỳ vọng sẽ đưa con số này lên vị trí thứ 4 trong tương lai.</p> <p>Ông nhấn mạnh sự ủng hộ và cam kết của Mỹ trong việc hỗ trợ Việt Nam trở thành nước thu nhập cao, với nền tảng công nghệ cao, kinh tế số trong 20 năm tới.</p> <p>Cũng theo ông, người trẻ Việt Nam nên tập trung vào giáo dục, tiếng Anh, STEM, khoa học – công nghệ, kỹ thuật và toán học, bởi đây là chìa khóa cho các ngành công nghiệp tương lai.</p> <p>“Tôi tin Việt Nam sẽ là câu chuyện thành công lớn trong những thập kỷ tới”, ông chia sẻ.</p> <h2>Đối ngoại nhân dân có vai trò đặc biệt trong quan hệ Việt – Mỹ</h2> <p></p> <p>Theo Phó chủ tịch Liên hiệp các tổ chức hữu nghị Việt Nam Đồng Huy Cương, “đối ngoại nhân dân có vai trò đặc biệt trong kết nối và thúc đẩy quan hệ Việt – Mỹ”.</p> <p>Quan hệ Việt Nam – Mỹ có nhiều điểm đặc biệt, với nhiều duyên nợ, thăng trầm, khó khăn, nhưng đã trở thành hình mẫu của sự hòa giải giữa các quốc gia.</p> <p>“Bên cạnh niềm tin chính trị giữa hai chính phủ, nền tảng tình cảm, sự yêu mến giữa nhân dân hai nước đối với văn hóa, đất nước của nhau là rất quan trọng”, ông nói.</p> <p>Nhân dân Việt Nam luôn trân trọng và ghi nhớ tình cảm, sự ủng hộ quý báu của những người bạn Mỹ, trong đó có các cựu chiến binh và thân nhân, các tổ chức từ thiện, nhân đạo, tổ chức phi chính phủ. </p> <p>Với thiện chí và lòng tin, họ đã thấu cảm, đã hiểu, dám hy sinh, vượt qua chính mình, gác lại quá khứ hận thù để hướng về tương lai của tình hữu nghị và hợp tác, đóng góp quan trọng cho việc hàn gắn vết thương chiến tranh, cho công cuộc phát triển kinh tế – xã hội, hội nhập và phát triển của Việt Nam. </p> <p>Thời gian tới, Liên hiệp các tổ chức hữu nghị Việt Nam sẽ tiếp tục mở rộng quan hệ đối tác với các trường đại học, viện nghiên cứu, các bang và doanh nghiệp Mỹ. Đồng thời, nhiều trường đại học của Mỹ đã và đang triển khai các chương trình nghiên cứu, giảng dạy về Việt Nam, góp phần nâng cao sự hiểu biết của người dân Mỹ về lịch sử, văn hóa Việt Nam.</p>
