Sáng 29-1 tại Phủ Chủ tịch, Chủ tịch nước Lương Cường đã chủ trì lễ đón chính thức Chủ tịch Hội đồng châu Âu António Costa thăm chính thức Việt Nam.

</p> <h2>Lễ đón chính thức</h2> <p>Theo TTXVN, tham dự lễ đón có Bộ trưởng Bộ Nông nghiệp và Môi trường Trần Đức Thắng, Chủ nhiệm Văn phòng Chủ tịch nước Lê Khánh Hải, Bộ trưởng Bộ Tài chính Nguyễn Văn Thắng, Bộ trưởng Bộ Khoa học và Công nghệ Nguyễn Mạnh Hùng, Thứ trưởng Bộ Quốc phòng, Thượng tướng Nguyễn Trường Thắng, Thứ trưởng Bộ Công An, Trung tướng Đặng Hồng Đức, Thứ trưởng Bộ Ngoại giao Lê Thị Thu Hằng, Thứ trưởng Bộ Công thương Trương Thanh Hoài, Đại sứ Việt Nam tại EU Nguyễn Văn Thảo, Trợ lý Chủ tịch nước Dương Quốc Hưng.</p> <p>Đoàn xe hộ tống đưa ông Costa tiến vào Phủ Chủ tịch. Chủ tịch nước Lương Cường có mặt tại thảm đỏ nồng nhiệt chào đón.</p> <p>Các thiếu nhi thủ đô đứng dọc thảm đỏ chào đón nhà lãnh đạo Liên minh châu Âu (EU). Tiếp đó, hai nhà lãnh đạo giới thiệu thành phần đoàn cấp cao Việt Nam và EU tham dự lễ đón.</p> <p>Sau lễ đón, Chủ tịch nước Lương Cường và Chủ tịch Hội đồng châu Âu António Costa có cuộc gặp hẹp trước khi dẫn đầu đoàn cấp cao Việt Nam và EU tiến hành hội đàm, đánh giá kết quả hợp tác giữa hai bên thời gian qua và đề xuất các phương hướng hợp tác thời gian tới.</p> <h2>Việt Nam là đối tác quan trọng của EU</h2> <p>Đây là lần đầu tiên ông António Costa thăm chính thức Việt Nam trên cương vị Chủ tịch Hội đồng châu Âu. Ông cũng là một trong những lãnh đạo quốc tế đầu tiên đến thăm sau khi Việt Nam tổ chức thành công Đại hội XIV của Đảng.</p> <p>Trong bài viết trước thềm chuyến thăm, ông António Costa nhấn mạnh chuyến thăm diễn ra giữa lúc thế giới đang bất định. Kể từ khi thiết lập quan hệ ngoại giao vào năm 1990 với một chương trình nhân đạo chung, mối quan hệ giữa hai bên đã phát triển thành một trong những quan hệ đối tác năng động và rộng khắp nhất của EU tại châu Á, trên các lĩnh vực thương mại, phát triển bền vững, đổi mới, quản trị, an ninh và giao lưu nhân dân.</p> <p>Theo ông, ít ví dụ nào làm rõ điểm này tốt hơn Hiệp định thương mại tự do EU – Việt Nam (EVFTA). Sau 5 năm, hiệp định này đã giúp tăng kim ngạch thương mại song phương lên khoảng 40%.</p> <p>“Khi xem xét chiều sâu và phạm vi hợp tác hiện nay, kết luận rất rõ ràng: quan hệ EU – Việt Nam đã vươn ra khỏi khuôn khổ hiện tại. Đó là lý do tôi tin rằng đã đến lúc nâng tầm mối quan hệ của chúng ta lên Đối tác chiến lược toàn diện”, ông nhấn mạnh.</p> <p>Ông cho rằng việc nâng cấp này sẽ phản ánh thực tế về quan hệ đối tác EU – Việt Nam hiện nay, cung cấp một nền tảng vững chắc hơn để làm sâu sắc thêm hợp tác trong các lĩnh vực quan trọng như năng lượng xanh, công nghệ tiên tiến, kỹ năng, và an ninh. Điều này cũng sẽ phát đi một tín hiệu mạnh mẽ trong một thế giới bất ổn: EU và Việt Nam đang lựa chọn hợp tác lâu dài, thay vì phòng ngừa rủi ro ngắn hạn.</p> <div type="cai_type_display_none"
